Tallie Mister Trimgul

Tallie's Big Little Adventure

It is in the twilight where shadows dance and play. A time when it’s not quite dark and only a sparkle of light remains. It is at this time on the edge of a great forest, deep inside a hollow log, that little Tallie stretched and yawned.

“Come Tallie get your breakfast,” she heard her mother say. Tallie quickly threw her leafy blanket off and jumped out of bed. Her big little feet barely touched the floor before she was off and running, smiling, as she raced to eat her breakfast.

Tallie had been waiting her whole life for this very special day. You see, Tallie is a Bobble Goggin, and Bobble Goggins have to be big enough before they can leave their hollow log. Tallie had been growing and now she was bigger than a mouse, but not by much. Still she was big enough.

I bet you are wondering exactly what is a Bobble Goggin? Well, a Bobble Goggin is a Bobble Goggin. Most people have never seen a Bobble Goggin, and those that have are not quite sure they have seen one. You see, Bobble Goggins mostly only leave their hollow logs when the sky is dark, and night shadows fall across the forest floor.

Bobble Goggins are as tall as a mouse and have big little feet. Their big little eyes and their big little ears help them to see and hear in the darkness of the great forest. Every night when Bobble Goggins come out they smile and wave as they scurry about. Some go this way, and some go that way, headed to do what they each do best.

You see, not all Bobble Goggins are the same. Some love to run and some love to jump. Others like to climb to all the high places. Some love to dig while others to like swim. But all Bobble Goggins are most happy when they can help someone in need. For when they help someone, their hearts grow just a tiny bit bigger. No one knows why, it’s just the way Bobble Goggins are.
